Promotion Through Music Distribution Companies

Currently, music distribution companies are responsible for getting recordings out to the buyers. This industry must sell recordings so that sales are made and composers and musicians are paid. Yet there are a number of professionals involved that the performer’s sales must pay for as well, including producers and recording companies. To promote their products, musicians must often do concerts for the pubic, especially if they want the distributor to get their product for CDs for sale on store shelves.

The financial and legal end of the business are managed by lawyers and accountants that ensure that enough money is accumulated to pay the people who the performer owes money too, before paying the recording artist. It is because of these professionals that the business runs efficiently. Today many marketing companies set up worldwide campaigns to market the product so they can sell millions of copies.

The industry has changed drastically since 2000, with CD sales dropping out and internet sales growing and taking over. Today, more radio stations are streaming music to the public than ever before. It is up to music distribution companies to make sure that all recordings make it to these stations and receive enough air time to make them popular with retail stores creating greater sales.

Distributors are required to create and maintain a comfortable relationship with all retailers and generally collect and record all payments and accounting histories. With many sales being made online this becomes a challenge at the best of times. Distribution companies market the materials to the online store, which is not easy, and today there are many online stores to contact.

Other responsibilities include ensuring that the product makes it to the buying consumer. Because of this the distributor must market directly to the stores, who then must market to the buyer. Performers without a contract and agent will find this extremely hard to do, as representation sells the product.

By using the internet and downloading performances, distribution marketers are slowly being eliminated. With sales dropping in retail venues, those marketing are leaning more toward internet malls to make products available. The internet sales are massive, so corporations have changed tactics and use many smaller venues to produce larger sales.

In today’s market you will also find sub-distributors as well. These distributors are the middleman between the distribution companies and the retailer and may distribute for many companies, or brands, at the same time. A sale is a sale after all. The industry today is huge, so many large corporations are happy to use an assortment of these smaller marketing agents to ensure they maximize all sales.

Today, the niche seller has also come aboard and is selling wares by category. You can pick from any of the popular music types. But, at present, they account for a very limited percentage of all sales globally, although even big music distribution companies are retailing their artist using these niche markets.

There are many ways to promote your music online. Getting music promotion through music video distribution can help get your music on iTunes or many other music broadcasters.

May Dog Toys Help Make Your Pet More Clever?

Puppies can get weary when they do not have any dog toys to play with. When they’re alone they might not dedicate a lot of time thinking, nevertheless they require some type of activities to ensure that they’re active. They could gnaw on furniture or even dig in the lawn whenever they lack anything to do. Canines are truly intelligent and need mental stimulation and entertainment to be content. Toys also provide the benefit of exhausting them a little.

Study shows that dogs learn by playing. Having fresh obstacles and puzzles to focus on helps to keep them interested in discovering a new challenge. They also have a healthy instinct for looking to please their owners and enjoy doing whatever is asked of them.

There are several different varieties of educational dog toys available on the market. A treat ball has an open gap in it where you could hide their favorite treat inside. It can be used to train your pet ways to address a problem, and they’re great for any time the animal will be left home alone, he will be glad to have a little something to do that is going to use up his time alone, and give him a treat.

Taking Your Pit Bull With You On Your Next Flight

If your Little Buddy is a not-so-little (and maybe ever-so-hungry) Pit Bull, you may have to be more prepared than usual when taking him on your next flight. You have to take note of the many things that would be required you in order for the Pit Bull to be allowed onboard, and the myriad considerations you have to look into before leaving.

First of all, when calling the airline and having them book your flight, you want them to know right off the bat that you’re traveling with someone – your Pit Bull. Different countries have different guidelines for pets, so your airline should be able to give you specific instructions depending on where you are planning to go. Another thing you have to research well in advance would be the airline’s rules – for sure they have their own pet policies in place. And you will also need to follow through on the preparation stage – make another call about two weeks before your flight takes off. You never know when Lady Luck might stick a fork in your plans and either cause some hitches or totally cancel your flight.

Taking your pet to a veterinarian for a pre-flight medical exam is a recommended step, though not exactly a must – we suggest it because it is always a sound move to take preventative action against potential medical issues. But what you should definitely take care of would be securing a certificate of good health for your pet. Regardless of the country’s policies and ordinances on transporting pets, or the airline’s own policies, you will need to follow them when it comes to certificates. Most of the time, the certificate has to be dated at least ten days pre-flight. You shouldn’t pack this paperwork, but rather keep it with you while on the plane.

A collar and tag is a must to ensure that you do not lose your Pit Bull and can keep track of where he’s at. The tag should have all of your contact information, the date of his last rabies vaccine, and his license. It makes sense to have an extra tag with you and give it to a friend or family member as an additional precaution. Another thing to research on would be the airline’s kennel requirements – choose a kennel that adheres to such requirements, and have some form of identification placed on the inside and outside of it.

All items placed inside the crate of your Pit Bull have to be attached firmly. Of course, you should make inquiries and check what exactly the airline would allow – and not allow. Feed your Pit Bull around four hours before your estimated departure time, and take extra food and water with you, just in case you are late leaving the terminal.

Following the quick tips above and adhering to airline policies and procedures can make air travel with your Pit Bull a breeze for both human and animal alike.

Raising Brand New Puppies On Your Own

Puppies are often separated from their mothers. Sometimes she couldn’t produce enough milk to feed them or may be ill or have even died during the birth of the puppies. These new orphans will need homes.

If you are willing to work hard caring for a puppy, these new orphans can fill your heart with warmth. Be sure to begin with a visit to the vet so that he can get them started on all the right shots and feeding schedule.

It will be important to establish a regular schedule right away. Feedings, trips outside, sleeping, and training can be time-consuming but a regular schedule will pay off later.

Remember that most puppies have the benefit of mother’s milk. Your orphaned puppy will not have had this advantage, so it is critical to take the advice of a qualified professional vet on what to feed them. Your new friend will need both nurturing and socialization.

Before you actually adopt a puppy, be sure to consider all of these special needs. Adopting an orphan puppy is a big commitment.

You’ll need to decide how to feed your baby orphan, as it won’t have its’ mother to feed him. Some people tube feed, however this can be riskier. If the tube passes into the lungs, your puppy will choke. Bottle feeding is a good choice, so long as you keep the puppy on its’ stomach, not on its’ back.

Remember not to give your puppy cow milk or goat milk. They must have a special formula, such as Esbilac or Puppylac. Also, do not ever give your puppy egg whites. Raw egg whites contain an enzyme that causes a deficiency of biotin in puppies. Honey must also be avoided as it is fatal to puppies.

Finally, you’ll need to monitor the calories your puppy is taking in each day in order to keep a healthy weight. Begin with 60-69 calories per pound in week one. Then move up to 70-79 calories per pound in week two, 80-89 per pound in week three, and 90-100 in week four.

The Key To Raising A Healthy Puppy

Do you know how much your puppy is eating each day? Do you know how much he should be eating each day? The label on the package may not be specific enough for a young, growing puppy.

Not only does a puppy need an appropriate amount of food each day, he also needs exercise. If you are increasing your puppy’s food intake, be sure to increase their amount of exercise as well so they don’t develop weight problems.

If your puppy is eating too little, start increasing his food intake slowly over a period of two weeks. If at that time he reaches an ideal weight, you can keep the food amount there. Do the opposite for an overfed dog.

An overweight (or underweight) dog is more likely to get sick than a dog at a healthy weight. Starting your puppy out at a healthy weight while he is young will help him now and later.

You can avoid a fever getting out of hand by checking your puppy’s temperature regularly. Two or three times a week should do it. A dog’s temperature should be between 99.5 and 102.5 degrees.

Your vet can show you how to take a dog’s temperature. The thermometer will need to be inserted into the rectum, so be sure to have plenty of mineral oil or petroleum jelly on hand.

Wait three minutes then pull the thermometer out slowly and read the results. The mercury level will rise to the accurate temperature. If your puppy is running a fever, you’ll want to call your vet immediately and arrange to have him seen.

Make absolutely certain that you purchase a rectal thermometer for this purpose! An oral thermometer is likely to give you a false reading and make you think your puppy is sick when he is not. Now have fun getting your puppy off to a healthy start!

Proper Pet Supplies For A New Pet

Bringing home a new pet can be exciting for the entire family. Buying the proper pet supplies is an important first step in preparing for the new animal. Pets, like humans need food, beds and toys, among many other essentials to keep them healthy and happy. Finding the best quality supplies available is important and ensures a long enjoyable life with the pet.

There has been much debate over the best dog food brands in the past few years. Of all these pet foods, it is important to choose the best option available. A veterinarian can give advice on the most beneficial diet for the animal. Changing brands of food needs to be done slowly, because sudden change can upset the dogs digestive tract.

We all want to pamper or pets with tasty treats and goodies. All natural treats offer the best benefit, because most processed treats have a high fat content and can cause the pet to become overweight. Maintaining a healthy weight is an important part of an animals health, keeping them active and slower to develop arthritis or joint pain.

Plush toys help keep our pets active and playful, whereas chew toys help with proper teeth cleaning and gum management. Small dogs like will chew on anything when they begin to cut teeth and purchasing chew toys will save many shoes around the home. Beds are available in a wide variety of styles and animals love having their own space. Pet beds will add comfort and a feeling of contentment to a pet, keeping it off the furniture.

Leashes are important on any supply list. No one wants to take a pet to the park or on a walk in a residential area without some type of leash or harness. Collars can pull and tug on the throat, if the animal is not properly trained to walk on a leash. Harnesses offer a more comfortable fit. The leash is attached at the back of the shoulders and gives a more center point control of the animal. The harness fits around the chest and front legs and the pet cannot pull out of it the way it can a collar.

Pet gates fit in doorways and stairwells to prevent the pet from roaming in areas of the home that are off limits. These gates are good idea with a new pet that is being house trained, allowing the owner to keep the animal in an area of the house that is easy to clean. As the animal matures, the gates can be removed or placed elsewhere.

Fleas, ticks and worms can be a nuisance for both pets and their owners. Pet supply stores offer a variety of over the counter medications. These medicines are measured for doses by animal sizes and weight, so it is important to choose the right product for the pet in question.

Pet supplies are a necessity for all pet owners and their pets. It is important to find high quality brands that will ensure a long and healthy life with a pet companion, leaving the owner knowing he is creating the best possible environment possible.

Having pets and animals are wonderful for adding enjoyment to our lives, so be sure to have pet supplies ready to meet their needs. Puppies, kittens, birds and more can be found in pet supplies Brampton as well as pet supplies Mississauga near you.

Does Your Dog Hanker for Homemade Dog Food?

Americans, including American dogs, are gaining more and more excess weight. They may live contentedly with their owners, but a lot of dogs are less active than they should be and eat less appropriate diets than dogs did only 10 to 20 years ago. We see more illness, more vet bills and dogs with much shorter life spans as well. Some people have begun putting their dogs on special diets. First they do the research to find out what their dog should be eating in the way of regular meals and dog treats. Once they know their dog information, they can make sure they are giving their dogs what they need.

Some dog owners have started to use their own dog information to help them make their own food and treats for their dog. This has to be done very carefully, since learning how to make your own dog food can actually hurt your dog if you do not make it correctly. Your dog may not be able to digest certain meats or fats, for instance. There are also some foods that can harm your dog, such as chocolate, grapes, raisins, bread dough and anything that contains mold.

Some companies will make an all natural dog food for you. These companies have done the necessary research and they know your dog information, especially the vitamins and minerals your dog has to have to survive and be healthy. They are also aware of what foods your dog should avoid as they make him sick. Some companies, such as Flint River Ranch Dog Food, make human grade dog food, which means a person can eat it without becoming ill.

An array of “human safe” canine treats can be found on store shelves. There are specific shops which will create these delicacies in an oven, in much the same way baked goods are made for humans. Some of these shops even invite you to bring your animal in to determine which of the items they prefer. No matter which diet you choose for you dog, remember that exercise, rest, and plenty of fresh water are also needed to keep him healthy. Do your research so you can make the best decisions for your dog. You’re not only his owner but his best friend and his health depends on you.

Many people feed their dogs special diets after they determine what foods their dogs need to eat, both for regular meals and for special treats. This dog information allows them to be sure that they are feeding their dogs the food that they need to stay healthy and strong for a long time to come. Some companies, such as flint river ranch dog food, make human grade dog food, which means a person can enjoy eating it too. If you want to make your own dog food at home, you must do your dog research and learn what your pet should and should not eat.

If you’re interested in the type of dog food you’d like to give your dog, consider homemade dog food. And for other types of dog information you’ll find it at www.HealthyHappyDogs.com

Dog Training Tips — REVEALED! — 8 Proven Potent Dog Training Tips. Watch them Boost Pooch Popularity!

My dog ADORES barking, and barks at EVERYONE. He just finished shredding the furniture legs. In his spare time, he enjoys leaping up on my guests, and urinating in the potted plant and elsewhere. Yuk, and double Yuk!!

It’s a struggle to have a new dog when you’re faced with behavior issues. Despite this, fast corrections can be made when you use a powerful system to train your dog daily. HUGE improvements can be made in only 7 days.

Training your dog can be a lot of fun for both of you, as long as you have good information and some patience. With the right info, you’ll quickly see that your dog can learn new commands quite fast, and you’ll begin to enjoy the lessons. It’s important for Rover to know basic commands such as Come, Sit, Stay, and Heel. This will help keep him out of harms way around cars, and in public parks.

One person should commit to being responsible for Rovers lessons. This will make it smoother for you and your canine friend, since the lessons will be able to be more consistently given by one person. The dog will also become more familiar with one coach, compared to having two or three coaches. The methods of the coach must be followed by everyone who lives with your dog, and children need to be supervised by the primary coach while coaching Rover.

Sessions should be less than 15 minutes long, because of a dogs shorter attention span. Sessions can be 10-15 minutes long every day, or every other day. If you’ve had a bad day or don’t feel very patient, it’s probably best to skip a session, since you won’t be at your best.

Merging training into the dogs life between lessons will help to reinforce the commands that are being learned. For example, occasionally throughout the day, give your dog the Sit command (if you’ve already mastered that in your lessons.)

Since using food rewards offer a powerful incentive to your dog, it’s good to use them. However, it’s important to schedule the lessons for before mealtimes to make sure that he’s hungry, and keen to earn the reward.

To help your dog focus on learning the new command, start the training with little to distract him. Make yourself the most interesting thing in the room by getting rid of potential interruptions. Be alone with your dog, in a quiet room. Add some distractions after she masters the command, such as having other people in the room.

After these successes, reinforce the new orders using different body positions (on his left, right, with you sitting or standing, etc.), in other rooms of the house, and finally, outdoors on a lead. After a number of lessons, he’ll begin to understand that a command means that he should do the same thing each time, no matter where you are, or what your body language is.

If your dog isn’t a puppy, don’t despair. Older dogs frequently have longer attention spans than puppies, letting him learn faster and easier. This will balance out the fact that he may have had previous training that was less than ideal, that will need to be unlearned.

Previous training could cause her to link a certain behaviour with the command word that you’re using. Maybe your dog is having trouble grasping what response you want for the word Come, use the same training sequence using Here, instead.

When you start using the command in a new situation, your pet may act a bit confused. Be relaxed, and allow yourself to back up the training a step or two, or give extra reinforcement in the new situation. It’s the way your dog learns to focus on your command, in spite of distractions that occur.

8 Dynamite Dog Training Tips:

* Make one person the primary trainer

* 15 minutes every other day, or every day

* Using food rewards? Train before dogs mealtime

* If you’re using food rewards (recommended), do the lesson before the dogs mealtime

* Mastery of command? Alter body language, use distractions, change environment

* Regress a step or two in the training regimen if she seems to have forgotten the command

* Reinforce commands by using during daily life (that’s the funnest part!)

* Be ready to back up a step or two in the training sequence when needed

Dog Training Tips: STOP! Your Dog from Jumping on You (2 Secrets – 2 Solutions)

Granny gets invited to your house. When she comes in, your dog happily jumps up on her, causing her head to good crack against the wall. Hey, Grandma, be more careful!

Farfetched? Perhaps. A more likely scene:

Everyone’s dressed nicely, and is ready to go out for dinner at your favourite restaurant. There’s just enough time to take your dog for a quick walk so that she can do her “business”. She prances through a mud puddle accidentally on the way back to the house. Just as you’re thinking about wiping her paws off, she thinks it’s playtime and starts to jump all over you. Now your pants are FILTHY. Time to change!! Yahoo!!

A bit chancy for delicate grandma? Yup. Awkward and untimely for you? Probably. Maybe your dog jumps on people.

It’s a problem that’s easy to fix.

Here are some answers.

ATTENTION!

Your dog is so keen to see you and be with you when you get home, she jumps up on you. The main reason that dogs jump on people is simply that they’re excited to see you. If you want to break your dog of this habit (and you should) don’t give her any attention when she does this.

When he jumps on you, and you give him positive or negative attention, you reinforce the incorrect behaviour. Avoid giving any reaction at all, in order to quickly change his behaviour. I’ll give you a few simple steps that will work wonders.

TURN AWAY:

Turn your back on your dog when she jumps on you, or is about to. She believes that jumping on you is the best way to get your attention. Don’t make eye contact, and completely ignore her, and her behaviour until she settles down. Praise and pet her when she stops jumping on you. This will help her remember the behaviour that you want from her.

SUBSTITUTION TIME?

Or instead of turning away, you can give your dog something else to do when they jump up. For instance, commanding them to Sit is a good way to encourage a different behaviour. Be sure to lavish your dog with praise and attention when they complete a command successfully. Soon, your dog will make the association that lunging on you gets them nothing, while sitting gets them plenty of enjoyable attention.

Dogs jump on us because they love us, right? However, if she jumps on children or elderly people, someone could get hurt. In order to avoid this, it’s best to use some effective training methods and be firm and kind with your dog.

2 SECRETS:

* Dogs jump on you because they’re excited to see you

* By giving them give positive or negative attention, you reinforce their behaviour

2 SOLUTIONS:

* Turn away when he jumps

* Use substitution by giving a command: Sit, Go to your place

Remember, everyone loves a courteous dog.

Dog Training: 8 Dynamite Tips

With the right information and a patient attitude, training your dog can be enjoyable for both of you. When you see how well your dog is learning the new commands, it will become fun, and you will both look forward to lessons. Also, knowing the basic commands like Come, Sit, Stay, and Heel will help keep your dog safe in dangerous situations, such as around traffic or strangers.

One person should be in charge of training your dog. This will make it easier for you and the dog because of familiarity, and the consistency of the training method. Everyone who lives with the dog should help to train the dog by following the methods of the primary trainer. When children help, they should be supervised, preferably by the primary trainer.

Your training appointments need to be less than 15 minutes, because of the dogs limited attention span. Appointments can be about 15 minutes long, every second day, or even every day. If you don’t feel your best, feel free to skip an appointment every now and then.

Merging training into the dogs life between lessons will help to reinforce the commands that are being learned. For example, occasionally throughout the day, give your dog the Sit command (if you’ve already mastered that in your lessons.)

If you use food rewards, have your training sessions before your dogs mealtimes to make sure that he is hungry and motivated.

Begin training in a quiet environment with few distractions, making it easier for her to focus on learning the new command. If you remove distractions, you will be the most interesting item in the room to your dog. Try to choose a quiet room, where you and your dog are alone. After she has learned the command, start adding distractions, such as having other people in the room.

You might be teaching a previously trained dog. That’s OK. Grown dogs will usually have longer attention spans than pups, allowing for faster learning. This helps to compensate for some incorrect training that might need to be unlearned.

The dogs previous training may cause her to associate a certain behaviour for a certain word. For example, if your dog seems to be having a problem learning the correct behaviour for the word Come, try using the same training sequence for the word Here, instead.

Every time that you move to a new location or situation using a newish command, you might need to back up a step in your training. This is very normal, and not a cause for alarm. It’s part of your dog learning to focus on your command, despite many possible distractions.

8 Essential Dog Training Tips:

* Make one person the primary trainer

* 15 minutes daily, or every other day

* Quiet area with few distractions to start teaching each new command, indoors is best

* Use food reward, but train before mealtimes (the dogs, not yours!)

* Mastery of command? Alter body language, use distractions, change environment

* Regress a step or two in the training regimen if she seems to have forgotten the command

* Previously trained dog? Be prepared to substitute command words

* Be ready to back up a step or two in the training sequence when needed
