Is It Ok For My Dog TO Sleep There?
If you have adopted a puppy or an adult dog, there are a lot of things that you have to learn. With you both having to getting to know each other it can leave you very tired by the days end.
That night when you go to your bed, have you decided yet where your dog is going to sleep?. Yes it is true that a dog can go to sleep almost any place, but same is true of humans.
To get a good nights sleep you need to be well supported and comfortable, your dog needs this also to get proper rest and to stay healthy. Your dog needs a good dog bed to spend the night.
A lot of dogs and puppies can chew on their beds. So make sure you purchase them a chew proof bed. The filling inside beds can be very harmful to them if they swallow it.
Making sure that your dog will be comfortable during the night is important. Choose a well made bed with a quality filling. Pick the one you would like to sleep on and you will have probably made the right choice.
If you live in a cold part of the country you will probably need a different bed than if you live in a warm area. If your area is much colder in winter than in summer you may need two different beds or extra dog bedding.
Every dog is different and no bed is right for all dogs. Take into account size, weight and how thick a coat the dog has.
Don’t rush your decision, ideally buy the bed before you bring the dog home. Remember that a comfy, warm place to sleep is vital for your dog’s long term health.
